Stronger Together
Reviving the Legacy of Muslim Sisterhood
JULY 7 – 9, 2023
Righteous and strong believing Muslim women have formed the bedrock of Muslim civilizations for centuries. Their commitment to family, community, and deen helped forge the path for generations of young Muslim women to succeed today. In this retreat, we will draw on the lives of the sahabiat and prolific female scholars, leaders, and thinkers of our past. We will explore their commitment to uplifting each other and their communities in general through education, philanthropy, and the arts. In this way, we can inspire the women of our own communities to step up as contributors and leaders, with the education, character, confidence, and service that have historically defined Muslim women. Join us this summer to be inspired by the legacy of these women so we can channel their strength, wisdom, and love into our communities today.
This event is for sisters, 15 years and older. (Uthman Academy girls who are 13 and over may also attend.) Registration for this event (button below) is required. Registrants will be provided lunch (on Saturday and Sunday) and dinner (on all three days). Please note that there will be no babysitting. Lectures will not be live-streamed.
