Quran Rihlah

Full Time Arabic & Quran with Academics

The Quran Rihlah full time seminary combines mastery of Quranic Arabic and traditional Islamic studies (aqidah, fiqh, Quran, and hadith) of the alimiyyah curriculum with the flexibility to complete Grade 8 - 12 academic coursework in English, math, science, and social studies. The program is designed to accommodate a range of students: high schoolers, early graduates, huffāẓ, and those taking college level classes.

Students begin their day with the Quran Rihlah program (8:00 AM–1:30 PM), an intensive Arabic and Islamic studies curriculum rooted in classical Arabic, tajwīd, and Islamic worldview development. The program emphasizes reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension alongside core Islamic sciences (ʿaqīdah, fiqh, tārīkh, tafsīr, sīrah) and character development.

In the afternoon (2:00 PM–4:30 PM), students complete academic coursework through flexible options — structured supervision, online classes, and/or independent study. These options allow students to align with high school graduation standards and can support students pursuing a full high school diploma, dual enrollment or early college credit, and college classes. Please note that this year, on site instruction in grades 8 - 12 coursework is not offered.

Students will also be required to attend guided homework and review sessions for Arabic and Islamic studies, which is highly recommended (or may be in some cases required) in order for students to progress in their Arabic fluency through immersion.

This track is ideal for huffāẓ transitioning into Arabic comprehension and academic study, students seeking flexibility to blend Islamic and academic education, youth pursuing early graduation or college coursework, and high school students preparing for advanced Islamic studies. Each student’s academic plan is tailored to their age, level, and long-term goals.
