Tajwid 101: Tajwid & Mashq for Beginners

This course introduces the foundational principles of tajwīd while developing proper Quran recitation through guided mashq and practice. Students will learn essential rules of tajwīd, correct pronunciation, and proper articulation while applying them directly through recitation. With an emphasis on both knowledge and practice, the course aims to build confidence, fluency, and a strong foundation for reciting the Quran correctly and beautifully.

Tajwid 110: Intensive Tajwid & Mashq for Beginners

This intensive course provides a focused study of the foundational principles of tajwīd while developing proper Quran recitation through consistent guided mashq and practice. Meeting four times a week, students will receive frequent instruction, correction, and opportunities to apply essential rules of tajwīd, proper pronunciation, and articulation directly through recitation. The intensive format is designed to accelerate progress, strengthen fluency and accuracy, and build confidence in reciting the Quran correctly and beautifully.

Quran Memorization and Tajwid for Sisters

This class combines a structured tajwid learning program with Quran memorization (tahfiz). It is an excellent opportunity for sisters to spend mornings connecting with Allah's book. Students will improve their Quran recitation to a high level, with a female reciter who has an ijazah in the Hafs mode of recitation. Sisters will also memorize the Quran in a structured format of new memorization and revision. Motivated sisters can pursue this program long term to complete memorization of the entire Quran. This class will follow the Quran Memorization (for children) calendar, except that the teacher may give an additional 7 days off in the year with advance notice to students.
