Fiqh 110: Fiqh of Mensturation​

A course that is designed to provide women with a comprehensive understanding of how different types of bleeding—hayd (menstruation), istihadah (irregular bleeding), and nifas (postpartum bleeding)—impact religious obligations such as salah (prayer) and fasting, as well as other aspects of Shari'ah law. Many women may encounter confusion or uncertainty when navigating these important matters, especially when it comes to distinguishing between the different types of blood and understanding how they affect acts of worship. In this course, in sha Allah, we will delve into the definitions and characteristics of hayd, istihadah, and nifas, explaining how to properly identify each one and its implications for religious duties. We will also address common questions and misconceptions that often arise in relation to these topics.​
